The contract is for construction of a piped water supply and sanitation system covering Kyegegwa–Mpara–Ruyonza–Kyaka–Kabagore and is divided into two lots: Lot 1 for construction of head works in Kyegegwa and Kyenjojo Districts and Lot 2 for mid-stream works in Kyegegwa and Kazo Districts. Each lot has a construction period of 15 months. Bidding is by International Competitive Procurement under a two-envelope (technical and financial) procedure, with technical evaluation weighted 60% and cost 40
