Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Gulawo (gulawo.online) you agree to these Terms. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. The service

Gulawo aggregates publicly available tender information and provides compliance, pipeline, proposal and document tools for contractors and buyers. We make reasonable efforts to keep tender data accurate, but tender data originates from third-party public sources and is provided “as is” — you remain responsible for verifying deadlines, requirements and eligibility before submitting any bid.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One account may not be shared with unauthorised users without a suitable plan.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for unlawful or fraudulent activity.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer or resell the service or its data without permission.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes rights of others.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to our systems.
• Upload malicious code or content.

5. AI-generated content

AI features (proposals, briefings, scoring) produce machine-generated output based on your data and public tenders. Output may contain errors. You are solely responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before use and for any decision made in reliance on it.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the documents, profiles and content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display that content solely to provide the service to you. Buyer-posted tenders are published in the public feed so suppliers can respond.

7. Payments & refunds

Paid plans are billed in advance. Fees are non-refundable except as set out in our Refund Policy. We may change prices upon notice for renewals.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, fraud or legal requirements. On termination you lose access to the service; we may delete your data after a reasonable period.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of tender data and uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that use of the service will result in winning any tender.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gulawo shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or opportunities, arising out of your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees you paid in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms and will post the revised version on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
